The schools I have in mind are Iowa, BVU, UNI, and Creighton. They are of interest to me because they a good schools for the two things I am trying to decide between majoring in. I plan to major in health sciences or business. My expectations of college are that there is going to be a lot of time spent in class and studying outside of class. I hope the stereotype that teachers make college out to be is false. They all make it sound like college is going to be super hard and the teachers won’t care about you. The major factor for choosing a school is probably how I feel while I’m visiting there. If a school gives me a bad vibe or doesn’t feel right I probably won’t go there. I’m looking forward to getting a good education so I can make lots of money. I fear failing or not doing well in class.

Carter and I don’t really share similar views of college; he seems to be thinking about more factors than I am, as I just want to leave and don’t really care where I go. I wouldn’t go to the same college as Carter since he seems to plan on staying in the state. I didn’t write about it, but I agree with Carter and his fears; the thought of failing my classes scares me as well. I feel like there is still stress to go to college right away after school, but it’s going away as people are using common sense and realizing that you shouldn’t spend thousands of dollars to do something you don’t want to do. I feel like gap years would be fun; I’m not sure how they are funded since many people go to other countries during their gap year though. π
